Bernd Anthropomorphic Plant - Digital Assistant

In the second semester of my Master at Ulm University we worked on a ubiquitous computing project where we came up with a novel user interface idea. The goal was to improve a voice assistant's personality by adding "life" to the system. We decided to implement a voice assistant into a plant. This combination should lead the owner to take care about his/her digital assistant, likewise he/she does take care of a houseplant as a living object. Our hypothesis was, the user uses the "plant voice assistant" more often and prefers it compared to the state-of-the-art ones.

Implementation: Arduino, Mycroft, Raspberry Pi
